The Custom Design Process

At Sara Gallo Custom Jewelers, we take pride in our meticulous process of creating custom-designed jewelry. From the initial consultation to the final product. Work directly with Sara to explore design options, review photorealistic renders, and try on a 3D-printed model before we cast in solid gold.

Most custom projects take 6–8 weeks after design approval. Book a free consultation to start your piece and see why clients trust a local, independent jeweler in for thoughtful, lasting craftsmanship.

We create photorealistic images of your jewelry and pair them with a 3D printed model. It's time to try on!

Upon approval, we will make a mold of your 3D printed model and turn it into its final state-- solid gold.

We take the utmost care in adding the final touches (like polishing and stone setting) to complete your piece and make it shine!

Custom projects require 6-8 weeks to manufacture after the design is approved and a 50% deposit is submitted. We are sometimes able to expedite custom orders depending on our work flow in the studio. Rush orders incur a fee of 10% of the order total.

In stock items that do not need resizing or altering will ship in 1-2 business days. If customization is requested, your item may take up to two weeks to ship. Please contact us directly before placing an order with customization.

Yes! We will examine your gemstones and metal under a microscope to determine their condition and usability in a custom piece.

We accept cash, PayPal, Amazon payments, Apple Pay, Venmo, and all major credit cards.

Yes! We have partnered with Affirm to offer pay over time terms. Pick the monthly payment plan you like best (3, 6, or 12 monthly payments). You’ll never pay more than you agree to up front.

If sales tax is required for your order, our website provider automatically calculates the amount we need to remit and adds the tax to your checkout total.

All packages are shipped via FedEx and require a signature. Please note shipping estimates do not include lead time. If your piece is in stock, please allow 1-2 business days for the order to process, and be sent out.

Are you able to ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally. Please contact us directly for a shipping quote. Customer is responsible for any customs or duty fees associated with the order.

Use warm water and dish detergent to clean your jewelry. An extra soft-bristled toothbrush can be used to gently clean each piece. Pay special attention to removing dirt and debris from under gemstones. Avoid the use of harsh cleaners and chemicals. We do not recommend the use of jewelry cloths or ultrasonic cleaners.

Opal, pearl, and other delicate gems should be rinsed with water only or taken to a professional for cleaning. Please contact us directly if your SG piece needs a professional cleaning.

We want you to love your new jewelry! If you aren't completely satisfied for any reason, you may return or exchange online purchases only within 14 days of the shipment date. Items must be unworn and returned in their original condition with original packaging. Refunds are less the original shipping cost, as SG does not cover shipping. Customer is responsible for safe and secure shipping back to SG. All returns need a return authorization before being shipped back to SG. Please contact us to discuss your needs and to obtain authorization for a return or an exchange. Sara Gallo Custom Jewelers is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

All custom orders, resized rings, or otherwise altered jewelry items are FINAL SALE.
